The pantry provides assistance to UNC Charlotte undergraduate and graduate students that struggle with food insecurity.  In 2013 the USDA defined food insecurity as a condition that occurs when people do not have enough resources to feed themselves.  We offer a variety of nutritious meals and frequently give demonstrations on what meals can be made with the food in our pantry.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate keeping the Jamil Niner Student Pantry in operation during this time.
In conjuction with the university's guidance on COVID-19, an effort to reduce close personal contact and help keep our clients and staff safe, we have made the decision to temporarily have pantry staff shop and bag your groceries for you.  You will still receive the same amount of nutritionally balanced groceries.

Use this link starting Sunday (3/29) to pickup Tuesday (3/31) or Wednesday (4/1) between 2:00-5:00 pm. Once you submit your order, your order is confirmed. You will not receive an additional email.

1. Fill out the above form by 11:59 pm the evening before you would like to pick up groceries. We will not take walk-up orders. You MUST pickup your groceries at the time you request.
2. When you arrive, send an email with your name as the subject so we know you are here.
3. We will do our very best to accommodate your food requests.  However, if we don't have items, we may need to make substitutions.
4. Use this website for updates regarding the pantry.
